The Gospel of John - Session 8-A - John 12

We come to the last week of Christ's earthly ministry in John Chapter 12.  We start out by looking at Christ's anointing in Bethany followed by his Triumphal Entry and last words in the Temple as recorded in John.

We complete our study of John Chapter 12 by looking at Christ's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and his last words in the Temple as recorded in John.

We begin our study of John Chapters 10 and 11 by examining John Chapter 10, Christ the Good Shepherd.

We complete our study of John Chapters 10 and 11 by examining the account of the Resurrection of Lazarus and the escalating conflict between Christ and the religious leaders.

In this session we complete our discussion of John Chapter 8 looking at the disputed account of the Woman Taken in Adultery and then the rest of the chapter starting around verse 31.  We then look at the account of the Man Born Blind in John 9.

In this session we look at three events in the life of Christ as found in John 5-6. The first is Christ's defense of his deity and ministry after the healing of the paralytic at the Pool of Bethesda.  The second is the feeding of the 5,000 - the only miracle of Christ recorded in all four gospels.  Finally we look at the Bread of Life Discourse in which Christ teaches not only the sovereignty of God in salvation, but man's responsibility as well.

We complete our study of John chapters 5 and 6 by looking at Christ's Bread of Life Discourse.
